Technical Training Schedule for Maryland's Solar and Wind Expo

The Solar and Wind Expo has released it's NABCEP and AIA certified training schedule for the upcoming event at the Maryland State Fairgrounds. The courses are geared for people such as electricians interested in getting into the solar business and those interested in becoming sales representatives. Introduction to Solar Photovoltaic and Site Assessment are also being offered. The Site Assessment course is approved by the American Institute of Architects for continuing education credit.Introduction to Solar Photovoltaic is geared towards general contractors, electricians and professionals with a strong interest in solar PV. It is also suitable for building-owners and homeowners who are considering adding solar PV. The courses are sponsored by Krannich Solar

President says he wants to repeal subsidies for Oil

Just minutes ago in the Rose Garden and in front of a large gathering the President laid down the challenge to the oil companies. President Obama called for Congress to strip the oil subsidies and double down on clean energy. He pointed out that the big three oil companies raked in over $80 billion dollars last year alone and Exxon makes over $4 million an hour.
